I'm calling on local charities and community groups to sign up to a new funding scheme and to make the most of all the support available to them.
Earlier this month, Aviva launched its Aviva Community Fund and it is now accepting applications from community groups and charities in Fareham.
The Aviva Community Fund awards funding of up to £25,000 for local community projects across a range of categories such as skills for life, health & wellbeing and community support. Last year it had over 450 winners and this year we have even more awards up for grabs.
There are so many different ways local groups and charities can get funding for community projects, to fund their activities or to make repairs and upgrades to buildings.
The Aviva scheme is a great way for groups the money for projects that make a real difference to local people. I would encourage groups in Fareham to apply.
I am also happy to assist with any searches for funding, people should contact me on [email protected] to find out more.
Applications can be made until 12 noon on 10th October via this link. There will then be a chance to vote for your favourite projects, with winners announced in January.
Aviva can be contacted via [email protected] or calling the helpline on 0151 284 1018. Further information can be accessed here: https://www.aviva.co.uk/good-thinking/community-fund/
