I welcomed 16 volunteers from Fareham Community Hospital (FCH) to Parliament.
The volunteers, who give up their free time to work at the hospital, met with me in the Palace of Westminster, where we caught up over a chat. I also arranged a tour of Westminster Hall, the Chapel of the Undercroft, the House of Commons and the House of Lords, for the group and took them to the terrace of the House of Commons, which overlooks the river Thames.
It was great to see the FCH volunteers. They do brilliant work and dedicate much of their free time to helping others. I would like to thank them for coming up.
Anyone from Fareham interested in coming up to Parliament for a tour, please just get in touch with me on [email protected]
