I lent a helping hand at Naomi House Charity Shop on West Street in Fareham.
I was tasked with sorting through clothes which had been freshly delivered by members of the community. She was also shown how to use the shop till, and learnt how to steam shirts so they’re ready to be sold to customers.
Naomi House and Jacksplace provide vital hospice care and support for children and young people in Hampshire. All proceeds from the shop go towards the hospice and support them to keep providing care to children from the community.
Thank you to Tracey and the brilliant team of volunteers at the Naomi House and Jacksplace Charity shop on West Street in Fareham for having me along to volunteer.
I had a wonderful time with the volunteers who give up so much of their time to keep the shop open. They do great work to support life limited and life threatened children.
I would like to thank and wish a very happy Christmas to the staff and volunteers of Naomi house, and all of the charities and volunteers in Fareham.
