I was delighted to learn more about the work of the community homeless refuge, 101 Gosport Road, for its efforts in tackling homelessness in Fareham, following a visit where I formally opened a new garden. I joined clients, volunteers and staff at the hostel and was shown the refurbished garden, complete with graffiti art, planters and a mural. The new garden represents many hours hard work by clients, volunteers and staff, who worked to complete the project.
Two Saints is a registered co-operative society, providing homelessness services across the South. In Fareham, it runs a number of hostels, providing crucial services and support networks to help homeless people turn their lives around. The charity offers accommodation with support and resettlement services, giving people the opportunity to develop vital skills to break the cycle of homelessness.
Two Saints provides a safe haven for some of our most vulnerable residents in Fareham so I was delighted to officially open their new Garden, refurbished and decorated by the clients, staff and volunteers. I thank and commend the team for reinvigorating the space for others to enjoy and to serve as a reminder of the opportunity to rebuild lives at Two Saints.
