It was great to hold this fantastic community event again, and my thanks to the Southwick D-Day Memorial Hall for hosting us. Lots of the senior members of our community turned up at the fair, it was wonderful to speak with them and learn why events like this are so important.
We had a large range of stalls, showcasing a variety of groups that exist to support elderly residents in and around Fareham & Waterlooville. We had health information and support groups, social clubs, shopping support groups, activity groups, assisted living organisations and many more amazing groups.
These organisations work extremely hard to help those in their elder years; we really do have a great support network in Fareham & Waterlooville!
My thanks to everyone who made this fair possible and to the senior citizens who came along. I look forward to hosting this important community event again for many years to come.
