Last week Suella was delighted to visit Cobweb Solutions and Vuzion, an innovative IT firm from Fareham. During her visit Suella engaged in fascinating discussions with Michael Frisby, Managing Director, and his team to learn more about the products and services that they offer. Suella was pleased to hear about the rapid growth they have recently experienced, as well as their encouraging prospects for their future in the Solent region.
After relocating to Cams Hill from Gloucestershire in 1999, Cobweb Solutions have established themselves as a leading firm in the sale of innovative IT technology. Thanks to promising growth attributed to the rising popularity of cloud technology, Cobweb Solutions were able to expand their business by creating Vuzion. As a result of their operations, they now employ over 100 people from the Solent area.
Cobweb Solutions offer businesses managed technology services that are primarily based around Microsoft services. This essentially translates to the sale of cloud systems that allow businesses to operate remotely under a safe and cyber secure environment. Vuzion was subsequently established five years ago to help resellers of cloud technology through the aid and support in the delivery of these systems.
Suella was pleased to learn about exciting new developments at Vuzion. Recently they paired with Formula One World Championship team Williams Racing. Vuzion will now be facilitating the delivery of Acronis cyber security for the Formula One team. Acronis’ unique AI-enhanced solution integrates data protection with cybersecurity, to prevent cyberattacks that will help Williams to avoid downtime allowing them to focus on racing. This system delivered by Vuzion will ensure the prevention, detection, response, recovery, and analysis needed to safeguard all workloads while streamlining protection efforts. Suella was fascinated to learn that this Fareham-based company is aiding Williams in their pursuit of Formula One success through their innovative technological solutions.
