Dozens of Fareham residents packed into Titchfield Community Centre to speak with me about Government policy.
Around 30 people from Fareham attended a special event for residents as a new opportunity for local people to talk about the national issues that matter most to them.
Differing from my community surgeries, the coffee & chat sessions give people the chance to talk with their local MP about specific government policies or about the work of the government generally.
It was great talking to people from Fareham about the issues that they most care about nationally. I had a number of chats with residents about Brexit, and was able to answer a number of queries about specific Government policies.
I also had a number of questions about the planned Welborne development. As always, the residents from Fareham were very engaged with what is happening on the national scene, and came equipped with well-informed questions, it really made for a lively session.
Opportunities like this are very important for a local MP. They give me an opportunity to listen to the people of Fareham, which helps me to better represent them. Anyone interested in attending the next event should get in touch with me
