This year's Apprenticeships Fair was packed with people looking to find their perfect opportunity, taking the first steps in their career, or making a career switch. The event was open to people of all ages and held in Ferneham Hall, Fareham.
At the fair there was a careers hub where people could attend workshops – supported by Fareham College, Santander and the National Careers Service – to improve their CV, take part in mock interviews and get advice on their presentation and digital skills.
This year’s fair has been a massive success. The fair was packed with people eager and interested in the apprenticeships and jobs that are available, and how they can unlock new opportunities and find the right training or career for them. Apprenticeships are an amazing way for young people to start their careers without having to worry about the debts that come with university.
There is so much talent right here in Fareham – with innovating and ambitious businesses based locally - it’s great that they’re giving something back to local people, equipping them with vital skills for work through their apprenticeship programmes. I thank all the businesses which were part of this year’s fair, and made it such a success.
