Fareham College will become a provider for the Government’s new flagship qualification, T Levels.
On Sunday, the Government announced the providers that have been successful and will deliver the new T Levels from September 2020. Included on the list was Fareham College.
The qualifications are a vocational alternative to A levels, and will take effect in England, covering subjects which include childcare, construction, education, engineering and manufacturing.
I am very pleased that Fareham College has been selected as one of the providers. The College is already an outstanding place to learn and this announcement means that many more young people in Fareham will benefit from a higher level of skills and better career prospects.
T Levels will provide a technical, high-quality alternative to A Levels and will ensure that young people get the skills they need to succeed, and the country gets the skills it needs to be competitive globally.
