Portchester Community School was packed with over 80 Fareham residents for my first Brexit Question Time.
Constituents probed the me on issues around the implementation period, if the UK is prepared for a no-deal, if disruptions in Parliament have set Brexit back, what help the Government is providing for exporters and importers, what the impact on trade will be how will the Government resolve the Northern Ireland border issues, if Brexit will affect spending and recruitment within the NHS, recruitment from the EU generally, and how EU nationals can apply for permanent residency.
I would like to thank everyone who came along to my very first Brexit Question Time. It was a good session and I was very pleased to see so many people turn up loaded with questions on Brexit. I will be sure to arrange another similar event in the near future to give more Fareham residents the opportunity to ask questions on the issues that matter most to them.
