It was a delight to visit Steve Willis Training Centre in Portchester to see the work being done in ‘skilling up’ local young people.
Steve Willis Training Centres are specialists in engineering services training with over 17 years’ experience at the training centres in Portchester, Burgess Hill and West Sussex.
The training offered at Steve Willis ranges from short courses for tradespeople to full apprenticeships and retraining for those leaving the armed services.
During my visit, I met with local young engineers and electricians being put through their paces by expert tutors at the Portchester facility. I was able to sit in on a training session to see first-hand the work being done to equip the next generation of skilled workers.
