Over the weekend Suella visited the Save the Children Charity shop in Portchester. Suella was delighted to meet Annie, June, Lila and Sayeeda, learning from their decades of voluntary work. Save the Children is a charity that aids children across the UK and around the world, helping them to access education, food, and medicine. Charities like these are absolutely vital for the upward mobility of the younger generation. Suella was immensely pleased to help out around the shop, whilst also learning about upcoming initiatives.
Suella regularly volunteers every year around Christmas time to support local charities, which have included Stubbington Arc and the RSPCA, amongst others. Having been unable to do this due to the Covide-19 pandemic, Suella relished the opportunity to visit Save the Children and is looking forward to upcoming local charitable engagements.
Commenting Suella Said:
“It was brilliant to meet Annie, June, Lila and Sayeeda at Save the Children in Portchester, to learn more about Save the Children and the vital work the charities does, particularly in light of the ongoing Ukraine crisis. I am always keen to get stuck in with local charity work and I am looking forward to my upcoming engagements with local charity shops this year.”
